Lendl Pattern Stringing

Developed by Warren Bosworth for Ivan Lendl in the 1980s, the Lendl Pattern is an advanced two-piece stringing method that combines the benefits of two types of string in a unique manner.

How does it work?

One type of string, generally a durable, spin based polyester is strung in the centre of the stringbed.

Another string, an elastic comfort-based multifilament is strung in the perimeter of the racket head.

Lendl stringing offers superior performance to standard poly/multi hybrid stringing, due to the polyester string concentrated in the centre.

These benefits over standard hybrid stringing include greater durabilty and spin access, without compromising much on the extra power and comfort provided by the multifilament string.
